Enrollment Process
Thank you for your interest in Nisse Preschool! We encourage parents to schedule a time to bring your child for a visit, tour our facility, and meet our director, teachers and staff. To enroll your child at Nisse Preschool, you will need to submit your registration form. We accept students on a first-come, first-serve basis, once registration opens. Current Nisse families will have an opportunity to register in January before registration opens to the public. Once registration is open, we continue with open enrollment (and maintain a waiting list if a class is filled) throughout the school year.

State regulations require that your child have a physical form signed by your healthcare provider and a completed immunization card. These must be on file prior to the first day of class.
Registration
For the 2024-2025 school year, registration will open at 8:00am on February 9, 2024. You may register via the Google form link or with a paper registration form. Paper forms must be turned in to Nisse Preschool (311 College Drive) or emailed to director@nissepreschool.org. If you are registering for our 3-year-old program, you must submit a $75.00 registration fee. Once your registration form and fee have been received in our office, your registration will be complete.
All registration forms will be numbered according to the order in which they are received. When a program fills (20 students in the four-year-old class; 20 students in the three-year-old class) we will continue to accept registrations toward our waiting list. If a spot opens up for your child, you can take up to a week to confirm enrollment.
Fees & Availability
If your child is placed on the waiting list, we will contact you if an opening becomes available. From that date, you will have one week to confirm enrollment.
Tuition
Tuition for the 4-year-old program is $330/month. Again for the 2025-2026 school year, this is fully-funded by the Statewide Voluntary Preschool Program (SWVPP) grant. Families attending this program pay $0 for tuition.
Tuition for the 3-year-old class is $150/month. Please note: First and last month’s tuition are due prior to the first day of class.

Tuition Assistance
Tuition Assistance is available. Forms will be made available to you in the enrollment packet; if you would like to receive one earlier contact the director. Tuition assistance is based upon national published poverty thresholds, which are subject to change each year.
